Master of Professional Accounting

The Master of Professional Accounting is designed to provide an opportunity for graduates to undertake major studies in accounting and law that will lead to the acquisition of accounting skills and knowledge and the fulfillment of the entry requirements of the accounting professional bodies. The units have been accredited by CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the National Institute of Accountants as meeting the educational requirements for membership. Master of Professional Accounting Extended aims to provide graduates with the requisite knowledge in accounting and the role accounting plays in providing information products supporting all areas of business activity. In addition to providing a professionally recognized qualification, the course comprises a mix of accounting, finance, legal, communication and economics subjects that collectively provide a range of essential business skills and knowledge that are necessary for employment in today’s dynamic business environment.

Term II

1. Accounting Theory and Practice (ECU)

2. Company Law (ECU)

3. Commercial Law (ECU)
4. Strategy in the Global Context

5. Managing Innovation and Technology

6. Personal Development (broadening horizons)
Term III

1. Financial Accounting(ECU)

2. Accounting for Planning and Control(ECU)

3. Auditing(ECU)
4. Taxation Law(ECU)

5. Management of Organizations and People

6. Personal Development (preparing for employment
COURSE DURATION

1. Full Time: 16 months (Inclusive of 3 months of industry internship)
2. Weekend Mode: 16 months (Saturdays or Sundays)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Successful completion of a recognized Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks ADMISSION PROCESS
